As the Business Intelligence Coordinator, your work will be foundational and support efforts to attract investment (FDI), population growth, local market and export growth. Your position supports the business development unit for Ignite Fredericton and Planet Hatch with the following accountabilities and responsibilities:

Accountabilities
Investment attraction lead generation and development
Proposal and bid support
Contribute to and manage the Business intelligence and labour market library
Project support

Responsibilities
Market Intelligence – Researching key economic data to support economic development efforts
Lead Generation/ Development- Assist business development unit by identifying and qualifying FDI opportunities
Client proposal support- develop tailored proposals that attracts FDI and other investment
Economic Policy Development- Assist in the development of policy and advocacy positions by researching and summarizing business conditions, laws and regulations
Stakeholder Policy Coordination- liaise with primary stakeholders to identify, develop and communicate policy
Smart Community Development- Assist in the development of Smart Community strategy and implementation

Required Skills and Experience
Comprehensive research skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Organized self-starter with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
Tech savvy with an aptitude to learn new tools
Business library experience is an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (but not prerequisite)
Experience using a CRM is an asset
University or college graduate

Responsibilities

Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 3 years experience in a similar role.
Language: English
