U.S. Manufacturing Facility Expands to Fredericton Region
FREDERICTON, N.B. - Ignite Fredericton, on behalf of its client McDonough Manufacturing, was pleased to invite the Fredericton community to a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the recent expansion of wisconsin-based company, McDonough Manufacturing.
McDonough Manufacturing is a family-owned business located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin that has produced sawmill machinery and equipment since 1888. To service their growing export clients and domestic (US) clients, McDonough has chosen to expand into the Greater Fredericton Region for their new manufacturing and distribution facility. This investment has already supported eight local jobs with forecasts to double that in line with their growing business.
McDonough’s decision to invest in the Greater Fredericton Region reflects the value proposition for foreign direct investment that Ignite Fredericton promotes: strategic location access to export markets, highly skilled talent pool, and #1 in cost competitiveness in North America.
