Atlantic Canada Entrepreneurial Services Passport Launched

FREDERICTON, N.B. - The Atlantic Canada Entrepreneurial Services Passport (‘Passport’), a partnership among entrepreneurial service providers in the Atlantic region, has officially been launched.
The Passport is a collection of Atlantic Canada’s entrepreneurial hubs, accelerators, and coworking spaces that have come together with the purpose of cross-promoting events, sharing best practices, opening their doors to members in partnering locations, and supporting the common goal of assisting entrepreneurs in the region. This initiative grew from a partnership between entrepreneurial service providers ConnexionWorks and Planet Hatch as an effort to improve the entrepreneurial resources for startups across Atlantic Canada.

“This is ideally only the first of many initiatives that are being put in place across Atlantic Canada,” said Lisa Kinney, Entrepreneurial Services Coordinator at Planet Hatch.

“As coworking spaces and entrepreneurial service providers on the East coast collaborate and align their programming and spaces, the benefits for Atlantic Canadian entrepreneurs will become stronger and more valuable,” commented Doug Jenkins, cofounder of ConnexionWorks in Saint John. ”We are always looking for new and innovative opportunities to grow our ecosystem.”

Passport members are those who have either signed a membership agreement, hold a tenant seat, or are currently participating in a business acceleration program with a partnering location. A membership with any one of the Passport’s organizations provides free or discounted pricing across the participating locations.

If you are going to one of these facilities, please contact the facility coordinator at the specific location; contact information is at AtlanticPassport.com. The Passport welcomes any additional entrepreneurial service providers to join the growing list of participants by contacting info@atlanticpassport.com.
