Taskforce Fredericton Invites Organizations to Participate in East Coast Startup Week
FREDERICTON, N.B. - Taskforce Fredericton is inviting organizations across the maritimes to take part in East Coast Startup Week, an Atlantic-wide celebration of entrepreneurship occurring March 13th-19th, to help fuel our vast and ever growing startup ecosystem.
East Coast Startup Week is a collection of independently-run events held in various communities across our four Atlantic provinces. These events are geared towards giving emerging and seasoned business owners the opportunity to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and potential investors, learn key business skills, and grow their start-up into a sustainable business. During this week, communities also come together digitally by populating a regional events calendar hosted on the event website, while additionally creating a virtual movement through social media.
“We want to continue the great momentum that Atlantic Canada has gained over the last year! East Coast Startup Week is meant to bring communities together not only in a digital realm, but in a way that continues long after the event wraps up.” said Tahlia Ferlatte, Taskforce Fredericton Startup Network’s Events Committee Chair. “More importantly, this event is meant to provide an equal opportunity for entrepreneurs in all corners of the region to learn, connect and grow.”
