What: On October 23, 2014, His Worship Mayor Brad Woodside will announce a world-class, telecommunications infrastructure initiative and strategic partnership through GoFred – a product of the city-owned telecommunications company, e-Novations. 

Why:  To reveal details about a ground-breaking initiative, which will enhance Fredericton’s position as a premiere place to do business in the ICT sector and knowledge-based industries.  This initiative will set Fredericton apart from Atlantic Canada in terms of unique value proposition and competitive advantage.  It will well-position Fredericton to attract foreign direct investment from companies looking to establish or outsource their product development divisions globally.
